Attire

When it's showtime, the costumes are beautiful and colorful — but for classwear, it’s quite the opposite.

During lessons, where you're learning and training, we need to clearly see your body and how your muscles are working. That’s why there is special dancewear designed to be simple and functional.

Kleuters and kids are allowed to wear any colour leotard. Boys wear shorts and a shirt.

For ballet, jazz and modern we want the student to be in plain black. You're allowed foot thongs for jazz and modern, and you need ballet flats for ballet class. Tights are mandatory from the moment you start en pointe.

In hip-hop and street styles, you're allowed to wear what you want, as long as it doesn't hurt you or others, or prevent you from moving properly.

Shoes are mandatory for hip-hop and urban fusion, however, you need to buy separate shoes ONLY for this class as they are not to be worn outside.

No jewelry is allowed, and hair must be tied up and out of the face for ALL classes. For classical ballet, a proper ballet bun is required.

Below you’ll find examples of the dress code.
