SCHOOL

Dance School Turning Point in Curaçao was founded in 1999 by Rita Koeks and has been under the direction of Tessa van der Zande since September 2018.

Turning Point offers a wide range of dance styles for various age groups, including kleuterdans (K4 and K5), kids dance, classical ballet, pointe work, jazz, musical theatre, modern dance, streetdance, and hip-hop.

We also provide training in selection groups for the dancers who are more motivated and want the extra challenge.

The school is also associated with Dance Company Turning Point, a foundation dedicated to furthering dance development on the island. This is achieved through organizing workshops, inviting guest teachers, financing tuition fees for financially less able students, and by organizing study trips abroad for the most advanced and motivated dancers from the dance school.

We are a dream team of 6 teachers, dedicated to providing your children with the most enjoyable and best dance training on the island!
