NEW YORK CITY

This February we went on a study trip with 16 of our most advanced students to New York.

It was an experience of a lifetime, taking classes with elite teachers and choreographers working in the industry, standing in class next to dancers who have performed on Broadway, seeing shows from the New York City ballet, the LA based Versa-Style dance company and watching a real Broadway show.. Time to shop and see NYC highlights was also planned and the fire has burned bright for our dancers who have more passion and determination than ever before!

CHRISTMAS FAIRS

Our oldest selection groups are saving up for a trip of a lifetime: they are going to NEW YORK for dance classes, workshops, masterclasses and Broadway shows in February! They are working hard to save up for this trip and are making the most beautiful Christmas ornaments for your tree. Our Christmas Angels are timeless and hand made, each one is unique and will last many Christmasses in your home.

OLDER NEWS

Workshop: Ashle Danwson, September 17th

We have done a BIG project at the opening of the Congress on Communication for the Rijksdienst Caribisch Gebied on September 1st.

We have performed for the Dutch delegation of the the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds on September 3rd.

Dance Movie Curaçao

After months of preparations, countless setbacks by covid, many re-schedules of plans later, we have finally succeeded.

We have made a Dance Movie about Curaçao. Trained in the studio, filmed on the island.

All students, ages 4 and up, participated. All dances were placed on different locations, from beaches to bare stretches at Noordkant, from the colorful backdrops in the city to in between cacti in the mondi, we were everywhere.

We hired Nathan Roosberg from NSR Productions, an amazing movie creator and professional film editor, and he has filmed and edited everything into a whole.

We are stoked, we are proud, we are grateful. We are ready to show you.

As we are NOT allowed to reopen just yet..

We hope all kids use the time to play a little more outside and all our teens start doing their "buikspieren" so we can start fully ready again on the 17th!

Film Project NOV 2021

In November 2021 we filmed all students on location! A MASSIVE production, which we couldn't have done without all the helping hands!
A big thank you to Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Caribisch Gebied for their support in this project.

All choreographies were edited into a movie, everyone could see themselves on the big screen in The Movies Punda!
